The pioneering FXBVillage programme, a three-year integrated programme model launched in 1991 to bring about long-term poverty eradication completes 25 years towards change. FXB International has implemented 150 FXBVillage integrated projects in eight countries – Burundi, China, Colombia, DRC, India, Rwanda, Thailand and Uganda – helping more than 75,000 people out of extreme poverty.

In India, FXBVillage brings improvements in health, education, and economic opportunity to ultra-poor families (together defined as a village in this context) in an impoverished area.

The program aims at reducing vulnerability by equipping individuals with training and resources so that they can achieve lasting self-sufficiency and stability. Each FXBVillage programme is customized to meet the needs specific to a community with respect to its social, cultural and economic backdrop.

The FXBVillage model has been a great success in Vishakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Imphal East & West (Manipur), Aizwal (Mizoram) and Dhapa- Dhipi and Medinipur (West Bengal) an Villupuram, Tamilnadu. The program has completed three years in these states.

A new FXBVillage program for three years in Mathur Periya Colony of Villupurum district of Tamil Nadu was launched. Around 554 direct and indirect beneficiaries of this program are households from dalit community.

The program aims to benefit the community through sustainable development, skill development training and income generation through different social enterprises, access to education, nutritional support, medical care, psychological support, awareness and access to water and sanitation services.

The second FXBVillage program in East Imphal has completed its third year in December 2013. It was initiated with the objective to strengthen the capacities of approximately 114 HIV infected and affected poor families from the selected six high prevalence villages of Imphal East. The program directly reached out to 468 beneficiaries (228 adults and 240 children) and 341 non household participants.
