Around 1200 children from FXBIS (FXB India Suraksha) project villages' in, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, participated in handwashing demonstrations and workshops under the theme 'raise hands for hygiene' around the country.

This year FXB India Suraksha (FXBIS) celebrated the power of many women to mark the day. To make this day special, FXBIS hosted a series of events under the theme 'Make it Happen' in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Manipur, Mizoram and Uttar Pradesh.
The FXBIS team went to Padampuri in Nainital for two days of learning and unlearning experience. The retreat was enlightening and joyful with lots of learnings and realisations to be practiced and cherished.

FXB India Suraksha, with support from UN Women implemented in Jharkhand the Suraksha Program on preventing trafficking at source areas by working with adolescent girls and women and building local accountability to promote safe migration.

FXB India Suraksha organised a pre diwali painting workshop for the beneficiaries from nearby slum in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Like last year this year also Diya (Earthen Lamp) painting, paper craft making and mehendi competition was attended by kids aged between 3-12 yrs in full zest.
Acting on a tip off from FXB India Suraksha, RCPCR rescued 51 children, including 27 girls from two illegal child shelter homes on 12th March 2013. These children had been brought to the city from far-flung areas of country's north-east with a promise of good education and accommodation.
FXB India Suraksha organised a Diya painting competition in NOIDA slum on Diwali eve (12th Nov, 2012). 47 kids turned up which was much above our expectation. Three kids, Nandini, Jyoti and Ruchi were adjudged first, second and third respectively and received a set of fabric colors each.
