"Getting to Zero"
FXB India Suraksha observed World AIDS Day along with Kazuperumpakkam high school in Tamil Nadu. The programme, themed ‘Getting to Zero’, begun early with a prayer meeting wherein the Headmaster talked to the adolescent students about HIV/AIDS. Mr. Yuvaraj, Programme Coordinator, FXB India Suraksha educated the adolescents about the roots of HIV transmission and how a person can check the infection
A need was felt to constitute a Red Ribbon Club in the school and a focal committee to act as peer educators to combat the issue. Participants stressed on assimilating the HIV/AIDS affected children into living a normal and congenial life by providing them care and support.
300 students took out a mass rally and distributed pamphlets spreading the message about AIDS. Through this day long programme FXB Suraksha India was able to reach at least 1500 people. The event was also covered in a popular Tamil regional Daily Newspaper Dhina Thanthi

FXB India Suraksha is the collaborative partner for CHILDLINE in Gautam Budh Nagar District. Childline is India’s first 24 hours, toll free, emergency phone outreach service for children in need of care & protection. CHILDLINE 1098, a four digit toll-free line would land any child’s call on the nearest CHILDLINE call centre.
In Noida, Greater Noida and all of Gautam Budh Nagar, FXB India provides services through 1098 which focus on children in distress such as street children, children who have fled from their homes along with those in a situation of physical, mental and emotional abuse. Apart from it, the service also caters to the need of children forced into illegal and hazardous activities etc.
