Climate Action & Sustainable Agriculture Programme

Multi-state — rural communities across all programme states Ongoing

Climate change disproportionately affects smallholder farmers, resulting in diminishing soil fertility, irregular rainfall, water scarcity, and lower agricultural production. All of FXBIS's rural development initiatives incorporate climate-responsive strategies, encouraging locally applicable, scalable solutions that help communities adapt while preserving natural resources.

"Failing soils. Unpredictable rains. Shrinking water resources. These are no longer distant warnings—they are the daily reality for millions of smallholder farmers. They may be the first generation to bear the full weight of a changing climate, but they need not be the last with the power to change its course. Real development is not measured by growth alone; it is measured by our ability to strengthen capacities, build resilience, protect lives, secure livelihoods, and create a sustainable future where both people and the planet can thrive."
