Holistic Support for Female Sex Workers & Their Families

Cooch Behar, Dinhata & Changrabandha, West Bengal Ongoing

FXBIS implements a comprehensive programme for female sex workers and their families addressing their health, protection, psychosocial, educational, and socio-economic needs through an integrated service delivery model. The programme establishes safe and supportive community spaces where women can access healthcare services, psychosocial support, legal and rights-based information, government entitlements, and personal development opportunities.

A key focus is breaking the intergenerational cycle of vulnerability. Through education support, life skills training, mentorship, career guidance, and youth engagement, children and adolescents are empowered to make informed choices and pursue alternative opportunities.
