SAAMYA — Engaging Young Boys as Champions of Gender Equality

Mamura, Garhi Chaukhandi & Basai, Gautam Budh Nagar District, Uttar Pradesh Completed

SAAMYA is a pioneering gender-transformative programme working exclusively with boys aged 7–11 years during formative years when attitudes and behaviours are being shaped.

Through structured sessions on gender, life skills, emotional wellbeing, child rights, and positive masculinity, boys develop inclusive perspectives — reinforced through facilitated dialogues with girls and community members — helping them emerge as agents of change for a more gender-equitable society.
