Urban Slum Intervention Programme

Noida (JJ Colony, Sector 16), Uttar Pradesh & Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh Ongoing

FXBIS's long-standing community-based education and child development initiative — operational since 2010 — addresses educational exclusion, learning gaps, and child protection concerns among children in marginalised urban settlements.

At its centre is the Suraksha Education Centre (SEC), a community learning hub complemented by the Children's Library and the Wonderoom — a creative learning space developed in partnership with the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation encouraging self-expression through storytelling, writing, theatre, arts, and cultural activities.
